Burn Baby, Burn

Watch the slide show here. These people need some guns and international support. Bravo to the Internet community and Twitter specifically for helping fan he flames of change in Iran. The phone rang at 3:00 AM in the White House and no one answered.

And what exactly is Obama supposed to do? Send in the troops to oust Imindeedanutjob a la dumbya?

I don't think so.

While I'm not thrilled with everything Pres. Obama has done since taking office, the Iranian situation? He has handled it brilliantly.

The world is seeing clearly that it is the Iranian people, not any American proxies, that are demanding change in Iran.

Ah Marlipern!

The prodigal adversary returns. Shall we dive in where we left off? Let’s shall….I see your attention to detail hasn’t increased noticeably since we last discussed the issues of the day.

“And what exactly is Obama supposed to do?”

It’s not a long post – surely you read the second sentence:

“These people need some guns and international support.”

I did not recommend sending in the troops anywhere in my post – though now that you mention it, it seems to me that we have more than a few just next door. And, of course, you wouldn’t send in the troops – I would. But I did not suggest it - yet. I said give the Iranian people guns and international support. When people are as motivated to fight for their freedom as the Iranians are I think we need to be very supportive.

By the way, Imindeedanutjob is pretty good. I’ve always been partial to Armageddonwhackjob myself.

Pray tell, what are you not thrilled with that President Obama has or has not done? That has great potential for humorous banter written all over it. Perhaps another time? But in the meantime you need to explain how doing nothing is handling the situation “brilliantly”. And while you’re at it, you’ll also need to explain why everyone still hates us. Or are we still blaming Bush for everything?

“The world is seeing clearly that it is the Iranian people, not any American proxies, that are demanding change in Iran.” Yep, no American proxies anywhere in sight - I think the proxies, in this instance, are British.

Hope and Change brother, Hope and Change.
